米奇的生日派对

This animated short by Norman McLaren is a publicity message for a war bond campaign. Symbols, a stick man and lettering are drawn directly on 35mm film stock and synchronized with a brass band rendition of Sousa's march "The Thunderer."

Mail Early

This publicity clip for Canada Post is Norman McLaren's first film for the NFB. For this animated short, McLaren drew symbols by pen onto clear 35 mm stock, which was then superimposed on a photographed painted background. Benny Goodman's rendition of Jingle Bells provides the accompaniment.

In this short animation film, the "boogie" is played by Albert Ammons and the "doodle" is drawn by Norman McLaren. Made without the use of a camera, Boogie-Doodle is a rhythmic, brightly coloured film experiment.

厨师唐老鸭

Donald is listening to a radio cooking program and mixes up a batch of waffles, but he's distracted and uses rubber cement instead of baking powder. The batter proves to be unusually stiff. First, his spoon gets stuck and the batter acts like a rubber-band airplane, flying the bowl around the room. Next, Donald falls with his head in the batter, he tries to get out but initially, he can't (with angry quacking and a lot of bubbles popping), and his tail in the waffle iron. Then he tries to chop it with an ax, and the ax flies up and splits the room in half. Finally, he throws the bowl out the door; it sticks to the knob while the bowl gets stuck between two trees. The stretching causes a branch to knock on the door, tricking Donald into opening it and letting the batter back in. After several attempts, he has had enough and rushes to the radio studio where the cooking program is being broadcast, and takes his anger out on Old Mother Mallard. As he approaches the radio station, the radio shakes and wobbles showing that Donald is violently attacking Old Mother Mallard!

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company 'B'

Hot Breath Harry is a hot trumpeter at a jazz club. He finds himself drafted into the Army, where he's assigned to be the bugler of an African-American company. But everyone hates the bugler, because he blows reveille at the ungodly hour of 5 AM sharp. Sure enough, on his first day, Harry gets pelted with everything imaginable. He lands against a wall, where his trumpet falls on him. He plays a swinging wakeup that segues into the title tune, and nobody minds waking up to this. Everyone swings through the whole day, even when three soldiers march into a lake and two soldiers, followed by a grinning alligator, march out.

米奇的火车之旅

在阳光明媚的一天，米奇（沃特·迪士尼 Walt Disney 饰）提着皮箱、哼着快乐的小曲子出现在伯班克车站，他最忠实的爱犬布鲁托紧随其后，这对可爱的主仆正准备乘火车前往波莫纳度假。少顷，火车靠站，米奇连忙叫来布鲁托准备上车，谁知刚刚冲入车厢他们就被粗暴蛮横的列车员皮特扔了出来。原来皮特禁止狗狗上车。眼开火车开动了，米奇只得将布鲁托塞入皮箱，连蹦带跳登上了车厢。他叮嘱布鲁托不要出声，得小心蒙混过关皮特这一关。倒霉的是，就在此刻皮特开始查票，布鲁托还是不可避免地露馅儿了。

布鲁托的梦想狗窝

在某个晴朗的早晨，身穿工装的米奇正坐在一堆木料中间看图纸。原来他的爱犬布鲁托的木制狗窝已经变得破破烂烂的了，他决定为其制造一间新的狗窝。布鲁托兴奋非常，他早已受够了那间摇摇欲坠的狗窝。主仆二人说干就干，各自分工忙碌起来。谁知米奇无意间挖出一盏精致的金色神灯。神灯里似乎住着某个精灵，他可以帮助人们实现各种愿望。善良的米奇没有任何野心，他只希望精灵能帮助布鲁托打造全新的狗窝。说干就干，精灵施展法术，所有的材料都动了起来，没有一顿饭的工夫，一间超豪华的狗窝就修建起来了。

唐老鸭的假期

Donald takes a kayak trip. When he gets to his campsite, he unloads the kayak, fights with his folding chair, and goes to sleep. Meanwhile, the chipmunks of the forest (precursors of Chip 'n Dale), attracted by his squawking, make off with the huge pile of food he carelessly unloaded. They get the attention of a bear, who Donald is soon battling.
