Pickle and Peanut is an American animated television series that premiered on Disney XD on September 7, 2015. The series was created by Noah Z. Jones, creator of Fish Hooks and Almost Naked Animals, and developed by Joel Trussell. It is about two anthropomorphic friends, Pickle and Peanut, whose misadventures form the content of the show. As with Jones' previous Disney series Fish Hooks, the show utilises a combination of live action and animation elements. On July 23, 2016, during the San Diego Comic Con 2016, Disney announced that the show has been renewed for a second season.

This filmic portrait is born of a double movement: the meeting of Lena Vandrey with our cinematographic universe, our meeting with her pictorial world, her space and her collection of processional figures and articulated dolls. Crossings of imaginations, of mythologies: the South, the origins, the search for a “greecity”, the search for the magical potential of the image, the feminine one as “force in love”. Crossings of plastic gestures: one on canvas support, the other on photographic and filmic support. We invited the artist to become herself body-painting, filmed painting. We have staged her texts, her paintings, her objects, her space. Attempt to reveal it as an embodiment of its own mythology.

Das dumme Gänslein (The Silly Goose) is one in a trio of German animated short films produced in 1944 by Hans Fischerkoesen, who was the chief animator and author. It is a tale of a female goose consumed by adventure and urban glamour in her countryside life, who had to be saved from a cunning fox by her friends and family.[1] The moral of the tale was not be extravagant and adventurous due to its consequences and it not being what one would expect, and promoting that people should live a ‘normal’ German family life. The animation has an underling theme of Nazi propaganda. It symbolises the Völkisch ideology to be traditionally conventional, demonstrating the idea that a woman's main purpose was to produce ‘true’ German children, and not be individualistic or sexually sinful.[2] It represents that if you vary from the traditional German life then the consequences could be dire, possibly leading to death. This can relate to the Nazi fear policy, by which people who opposed the regime or were seen as asocial, were punished and it could have eventually lead to their death. The film also indirectly contains anti-Semitism through the character of the cunning fox.

Rock 'n' Rodent is a 1967 Tom and Jerry short (though the year of copyright is 1966) directed by Abe Levitow and produced by Chuck Jones, and featured music by Carl Brandt. The title is a pun on "rock and roll", despite the music played being jazz. Animation was supervised by Ben Washam, Dick Thompson, Tom Ray, Don Towsley and Ken Harris.
